De Puls has been designed with the concept ‘somewhere and anywhere’ in mind. On the one hand, the office tower is the perfect home for international companies. With its sharp concept of future-proof office space and top-of-the-range facilities, this is the kind of building you could find in any major city around the world. It could be ‘anywhere’.

However, De Puls couldn’t have just been developed anywhere. Looking at its recognisable ‘Amsterdam School’ style of orange brickwork, white window frames and prominent bays, you know this building could only be standing ‘somewhere’. And that somewhere, is Amsterdam.
De Puls is een duurzame en blijvende stadsbiotoop aan de Zuidas.
We stellen ons tot doel om een stevige bijdrage te leveren om twee groenmetropolen met elkaar te verbinden.
Waar kringlopen gesloten worden, klimaatadaptiviteit een vanzelfsprekendheid is en waar biodiversiteit samen gaat met leefkwaliteit. Dit doen we door groen geen opsmuk te laten zijn, maar een integraal, onlosmakelijk onderdeel van het concept, het economisch model van het complex.
Groene grootse dakruimten in relatie met het maaiveld worden geprogrammeerd en ingeschreven in het stedelijk weefsel. We willen ruimte creëren die mee kan doen in het groenverhaal van de Zuidas. Niet even, maar blijvend.

A dynamic and ambitious project that integrates all functions of urban living.
Two majestic staircases lead to the central atrium which functions as the beating heart of the building. This atrium includes the entrances to the office floors, room for cultural exhibitions, and multiple restaurants and coffee bars.
In order to be outstanding in its performance, a wide range of sustainability measures has been put in place. As such the commercial part of Valley will be certified with
‘Gateway’ to the city’s Kenniskwartier (‘knowledge quarter’)
On the new square of Station Zuid, De Puls forms the entrance to this area which is located between the VU Medical Center, Zuidas business district.
